Tea Gardens

'I pour the steaming amber drink
In china thin and fine,
Gold banded, bordered daintily...
...And sipping slowly see
A film of far off scenes unroll,
The drama of the tea.

In our search to provide the best quality teas you can buy, as well as providing sustainable livelihoods for our producers, we are proud to bring you our range of Fairtrade and Organic teas from the gardens below. Each garden is organic, and in most cases bio-dynamic as well.

Using advanced organic farming methods has enabled only the best quality teas to be produced, along with preserving and cultivating the balance between man and nature in this delicate eco-environment.

Mineral Springs and Selimbong

Situated in the spectaular region of Darjeeling, and abandoned in the late 1960's, these gardens have made an incredible comeback.

Putharjhora

Lying in the plains beneath the Darjeeling hills, this garden is also home to many wild elephants.

Assam Banaspaty

Banaspaty literally means flora, fauna and trees. Assam’s tea plants have much larger leaves from their southern cousins and are known for their strong malty flavour.

Sahyadri

Located in the beautiful state of Kerala, South India, this garden produces highly aromatic and full-bodied teas.

S.O.F.A - Small Organic Farmers Association

Our magical Ceylon Green Tea comes from the lush, bright landscapes of Sri Lanka.
